Its aroma, besides dried apricots, carries honey-like notes, with hints of beeswax. Apricots return on the palate as well, but dried melons and mangoes are also strongly present. The wine has a very nice acid-sugar balance, with a juicy and persistent finish. We picked the aszú grapes by hand.
Our Tokaji Aszú 5 puttonyos 2017 won a grand gold medal at the 2023 Berliner Wein Trophy Wine Competition.
